Hi there, maybe i can find some help here 
Im building an electric jetboard using homemade 85mm impeller jet, 8392 200v motor, flipsky 75300 VESC, maytech remote and custom made 16s battery pack.
The problem is that even if I programmed the vesc to run on 16s as soon as I go above 95% throttle is says āover voltageā in the right bottom corner.
Also Im unable to connect correctly the remote ; or the remote acts like an on off button and the motor goes up to 100% power strait, or I can control it but only with brakes on and maybe due to this the motor reach 40-45 degrees Celsius spinning in the void.
It seams the only solution for the heating and brake issue is to run the system like a BLDC motor and not FOCā¦ well, Im bit lost, if you guys can somehow help me or needs photos Im here.
