If your Fliteboard hand controller is not charging 100 percent, you are currently not the only one. My controller would only charge to 87% no matter how long I connect it to the charger. Don’t worry you can still ride and everything will be okay. It is a software bug which Fliteboard is working on.
Here is the reply from the Fliteboard support team:
We are well aware of this and are currently working to roll out a new software update that will rectify this issue.
In the meantime, you could try discharging it fully and charging it up again. This will reset the battery and in some cases solves the issue as well.
Keep an eye on the Flite app for that software update and let us know if you have any other questions.
Here is user feedback from one of the FB groups:
To resolve the issue, you will need to perform a complete discharge of the Controllers battery and then a subsequent power charge cycle.
This can be done by turning the Controller on and placing a rubber band around the trigger to keep it engaged until the unit switches off.
Once the battery is dead, complete a full 24 hour charge cycle of the Controller and ensure it has reached 100%.
Please ensure the Controller’s software is up to date once the power cycle is complete.
