Global Warning to eFoil Riders & Rental Operators – Massive Fliteboard Failure
As a long-time rental operator and passionate eFoil surfer, I feel obligated to share my experience with Fliteboard – not just as a customer, but as a partner who once believed in their brand. What I’ve experienced over the past few months has been an absolute disaster.
Here’s what’s been happening:
• Multiple battery failures – both on new and older units. Total operational shutdown.
• Warranty promises not kept – over 3 months of waiting, zero resolution.
• No urgency, no accountability – even after repeated messages to the company, including direct communication with Jessie Simons (who promised action in January), nothing has been delivered.
• Damaged reputation & lost revenue – we are a high-visibility rental school in a top destination (Boracay), operating with international clients and influencers. Yet Fliteboard has left us with broken boards and no support.
• Shipping delays used as excuses – when in reality, international shipping could solve this in under 10 days.
• No real care for their rental partners – they promote rental visibility, but abandon you when their hardware fails.
As someone who once proudly promoted Fliteboard as the best in the industry, I now have to warn others: be very careful before investing your money or your business into this company. You may find yourself left alone with broken equipment, broken promises, and a brand that no longer cares once they’ve made the sale.
We are now collecting all evidence: photos, emails, delays, and failures. If others have experienced the same, I urge you to speak up. Fliteboard must be held accountable, especially as the global eFoil community grows
