Italian/Swiss Insurance for E foils and Jet boards

Hey Team
I have a Question to anyone who has eFoils in Italy or Switzerland, I’ve heard that legally you must actually register your boards with an insurance company to be able to ride them in all waters. I know this isn’t any issue in most other counties. if this is true what and how did you go about this? what insurance company actually covers you if you aren’t a local to that country.

thanks

The one we use is currently only for people with an address in Germany, but I think they want to expand.

In Switzerland, it is not mandatory to have insurance for e-foils and jetboards. However, it is strongly recommended, as these water crafts can cause serious injuries or damage to property. Insurance can help cover the costs of medical expenses, property damage, and legal liability.

In Switzerland eFoils and Jetboards are not allowed

efoiling in Italy is a great. Lots of lakes and of course the sea. Not sure if you need an insurance.
