I bought the Kootu P1 surfboard and the security key didn’t come out of the controller when I fell off and the board kept going out into the lake, I had to swim back to shore. I had the wristband on and started using the board as described on the website and other videos but all other people who fall off there boards, the board stops or shuts off mine kept going. Any info on this?

I guess it’s worth attaching an extra leash on these boards as well then, although that could be dangerous with the jet board. At least the board worked, but the safety device failed not a good thing. Did you loose the board?
Yes I lost the board and fought the company through the credit card company to get refunded.
Sorry to hear it, must have been distressing. At least you bought on credit card which was a good idea!
Was it just the once you used it? Have you bought another board since?
I was thinking of buying one as they are substantially cheaper than the alternatives. But not great if the safety mecahnism doesnt work, obviously.
Yes I have bought 3 since then. It was my first board and it was my first ride on a powered surfboard. If I knew how they worked I would of bought an electric one first that was my second board a GOYOJO 15kw it has a kill switch but didn’t really need it sense id stopes moving if u stop pulling the trigger. Then got a blue penguin graffiti gas powered surfboard it has been awesome. I got one from Amazon I believed it was an earlier series of sava and it hasn’t worked from day one got refunded for that one and they told me to keep it.

I like the idea of electric, they are silent of course and less maintenance I guess. But you have 30-40+ mins then that’s it, you cant refuel it, you have to wait for a charge. Unless you buy another battery of course at great expense. I have other family members whod want a go though, and a gas powered would be better. Just refuel.
I like the look of those PB ones but I haven’t seen any for sale anywhere for UK delivery. Im looking all the time on Ali. The customer service I’ve find with those has been pretty good, ordered loads from there in the past (not jet boards tho). So if things went wrong I’d have some insurance.
What board did you buy one of these?
Can get this one for near £2500 delivered to the UK. Which is a lot better than £13k new Jetsurf or even £4k to £6k used if Im lucky! These jetboards just cost too much but I’d really love one and have great places I could use it near me.
