Here at VeFoil we are working towards providing electric jet surfboard propulsion system as a complete unit, DIY kit, and parts/components from motors, impellers, waterproof remote control and more so you can build your own machines at a fraction of the cost.
Our jet propulsion system will come with a special connection device that allows a quick connect to any surfboard, SUP, or hydrofoil. Our one jete drive system allows you to do all three activities for the cost of one.
We expect to have our online store up and running within 1-2 weeks and will add new parts and products as they come available.

Here is our new eFoil Board which is awesome to finaly touch, feel and ride!
Our last update we talked about our board arriving and continued thrust testing to try and get the most power from our jet. So far we have tested over 70 setups and we have found a good combination and have sent away for CNC milled aluminum parts for temporary use.
We will continue to refine and improve things as a whole going forward as we can see the potential for more thrust/speed. It is just a matter of refining/testing new impellers blade shapes and more time.
Check out our board which was designed by Miles Hammond who has his own line of SUP’s and runs his own product design shop at www.Studio63.ca. Also, Dave from www.DaveBurt.ca did our board graphics.
As always, our goal and focus from day one have been to create a multi-use jet system, waterproof remote control, and board that is commercial grade so you can jet surf, efoil, and SUP from one board. Everything we make is built to have smooth throttle control, super stable board for fun, smooth flying, and so the equipment can withstand the hardest of elements like hitting bottom, getting dropped, or from renters whiles jet surfing or efoiling.
Through our creative designs, and group/bulk purchasing power when we launch hopefully in the coming month or so and we will pass huge savings on to fell enthusiasts/supporters/backers like you who share our passion for being on the water and who are helping us with funding and/or insight during this development stage.

VeFoil Products Update & Manufacturing
Its been a couple weeks since we updated you on our progress so here we are with some updates and a question for those who have answers 
First off, thank you for all your support thus far, and we are excited to say we have our high-end Samsung battery pack en route for testing! This gets us away from the volatile lipo batteries and issues associated with them. We will keep you updated once it arrives and we get out test riding!
We have also improved our waterproof remote control so the trigger is centered and fits both right and left-handed users the same!
Our new custom VESC arrived that can handle up to 180A Continous with water cooling, built in BEC, built in anti-spark is and all the features that come with VESC like current limiting, RPM limiting, custom throttle curves, etc… We will be doing a lot more testing and tuning with this so once we start production shortly they all arrive pre-preprogrammed ready to fly you across the water like the silver-surfer!
Last but not least, we are working on a few new features and design improvements. We are now at a crossroad between an awesome super affordable design, or taking things another notch higher with luxury features. The next upgrades increase the price quite a bit higher which goes against our main goal and my gutt feel which is to provide a kick-ass system at the best possible price, ultra safe for new riders/renters, and that’s built to last.
I believe we now have this product, and with another 4-6 weeks of testing we will complete the fine details and move to the next step - manufacturing/production.
Quick question, while the team and I have researched a lot about working around salt water, I would love to have fellow builders feedback on key tips about working with electronics/aluminum/stainless/corrosion around salt water to be sure we have all our bases covered.
In the near future, we will be sending out a detailed survey about what is important to you, wants, needs, features, etc… We want to be sure we cover all the bases and knock this product out of the park!
We are super close and want to use the rest of PRE WINTER cold water riding to continue improving everything before the ice takes hold and production starts.
